The training is organized by the Fundacja Myśli Sercem in cooperation with the Freunde der Erziehungskunst foundation and friends, activists and Krakow institutions that grant us space – we are very grateful to them!

The training is free, we charge a registration fee in the amount “at your discretion” (the amount collected in this way will be used to help children from Ukraine).

The training is devoted to understanding the mechanisms related to traumatic experiences and specific ways of working with children affected by such experience. An important issue is also the question of one’s own strength, possibilities and condition – how to care for them?

Run by specialists who have been helping children and adolescents in disaster-stricken areas for many years. It is practical, and at the same time – what is important – gives a feeling of strength. Workshop participants leave them confident that they can do something. And with a smile – which is not obvious given the topic of the work.

We recommend it very, very much!

Who? Everyone who works with children and teenagers.
Although the training is mainly devoted to working with groups of children affected by traumatic experiences, the approach and presented methods can be successfully used also in “ordinary” pedagogical practice as well as in work with adults.

Classes are conducted by specialists from Notfallpedagogik / Emergency Pedagogy

In one sentence: they are educators, psychologists, volunteers who have been specializing in interventions in areas affected by natural and war disasters for years, working there mainly with children. It is about intervening as quickly as possible, because it turns out that how quickly such an intervention occurs may be of key importance for dealing with the trauma.
