Music, singing, and dance as an expression of primal intuitions.
During the meeting, we will collectively arrange and perform the musical and theatrical work “A Jaworowa Fable,” building on the established musical and textual foundation.
The form remains open, and shared intuition plays the leading role.
Participants will take on any number of fluid roles – musician, dancer, actor, and singer.
During the workshop, we will learn:
– basic vocal production
– building broad vocal polyphony
– techniques for playing the angelica (Gałązen’s original instrument)
– intuitive, organic music-making (polyphony, polyrhythm, arrhythmia)
– movement exercises for choreography
Daily Schedule:
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – voice and movement exercises
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – working on the “Jaworowa Baśń” etude
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – lunch break
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – working on the “Jaworowa Baśń” etude
8:00 PM – performance for the audience and jam session
The workshop will culminate in an evening performance for an invited audience, during which we will present the results of our work on the etude and play Gałązen pieces in an open format – we invite you to jam and let us know. carries until dawn.

The Etude, along with other initiatives, will be performed in several locations in the upcoming 2026 season, and workshop participants become potential members of Galazen, invited to perform together.
During the meeting, there will be an opportunity to purchase Angelica – our original, wind, membrane instrument for voice work.
Please bring musical instruments of all kinds, comfortable clothes, and food for snacking during the break.

Gąłązen is an organic creation, eternally alive and evolving. The group has been active for over a decade in the fields of organic art, land art, theater, music, and performance – essentially, at the intersection of all artistic disciplines. Gałązen emphasizes community, intergenerational communication, and fun, rather than a specific, rigid script. The pre-prepared set design, music, and lyrics are merely the foundation for free expression. In keeping with the spirit of Gąłązen, art can serve everyone in everyday life – for communication with others, emotional regulation, and the discovery of one’s own competencies, as well as for cultivating tradition, transmitting values, and providing social commentary.
