These classes combine activities with the voice and body.
Through movement and play, seeking spontaneity and simple joy, we experience our bodies as instruments with great potential. Of course, if we allow it.
We focus on breathing and dissolving tensions in the body, which often cause a blocked voice. We also touch on the mental barriers that stand in the way of free expression.
These meetings also feature a meditative approach to the subtleties offered by singing. Through relaxation and sound journeys, which sometimes border on the practice of yoga nidra, we deepen our connection with ourselves, and therefore with the vibration of our own voice.
We explore both sound and silence. Movement and stillness. Communicating and listening with mindfulness for ourselves and others.
The classes are open-ended. No skills or a good mood are required.
It’s worth bringing a bottle of water, comfortable clothes, and—perhaps—a favorite blanket.
