DETAILED COURSE INFORMATION:
KEY INFO (objectives and methods):

This course is a land of calorie-rich creativity and a celebration of expression, but also a mindful journey for the mind, body, and spirit. A journey in which you not only discover and deepen your dance/motor skills, but also receive support and have the opportunity to: gain insight, transformation, and rediscover your potential (not just creatively).
All this through play, authentic expression, deep self-experience through mind-body connection, as well as reflection and pause.

About the combination of CONTEMPORARY DANCE and THERAPEUTIC DANCE:

The intertwining of therapeutic dance and contemporary dance (here: dance improvisation), therapeutic dance, and other disciplines in this course is crucial and not accidental, as it trains the dancer not only in experiencing and releasing the content stored in the body, but also in body awareness, motor agility, and  Using a specific form in movement. This approach allows the mind to keep pace with the body and facilitates self-expression, preventing us from getting stuck at the level of feeling, associations, or imagination. The physicality supports mental space and allows us to delve deeper into the process.

4 PILLARS OF THIS COURSE:

1. DANCE IMPROVISATION
This is a calorie-rich celebration of your expression through movement/dance.
This is your unique way of expressing yourself in the language of movement.
This is movement in which you are the creator, creating new worlds, and within them, yourself anew. At the same time, this creation is movement that arises by letting go of control, judgment, and grounding yourself in the present moment in topics available in real time.

2. THERAPEUTIC DANCE:
This is meeting yourself more deeply and allowing yourself to be yourself. Change is not the goal, but happens through dancing with what is. It is an authentic expression of all your parts (both light and dark).  What is noticed, allowed, and expressed changes form, often becoming your ally.

3. PHYSICAL THEATRE:
This is the encounter between theatre and the body feeling in movement.

It is the shapes, gestures, and symbolism of the body.
It is also a message/story in a language that the entire world understands without uttering a single word.
Body language is also the language of human emotions and feelings.
Our hands, forming gestures, are an extension of the heart, but the entire body also almost constantly forms gesture-shapes in response to the reality we experience, like a sensitive organic instrument.

4. MOVEMENT COMPOSITION:
These are etudes that participants create based on the given themes and tools. These are unique movement expressions built on feeling, mood, and inner stories. These are essential dance impressions created using simple methods. Movement expressions about what is: important, difficult, unique, mysterious, authentic, or funny.  Movement composition is a space for telling stories about oneself and the world. Expect props here.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

– psychotic states
– psychotropic therapy (not contraindicated, but consultation with a doctor is required)
– advanced pregnancy and the very early postpartum period
– various types of inflammatory and acute conditions

– long-term untreated depression
– long-term exhaustion or weakness

Also suitable for those who are drawn to dance, but perhaps haven’t previously been able to pursue this particular need.  What you do on a daily basis doesn’t matter for your participation in the course.
Age doesn’t matter (as long as your body isn’t particularly worn out).
Teachers and performers of all stripes have the opportunity to gain a wealth of inspiration and knowledge here.
