New Balkan Rhythm workshop – Ana & Marko from Alice in WonderBand (Serbia)

Join New Balkan Rhythm workshop to learn to combine singing and body percussion. Starting from the basics, you will understand how to play different odd beats (7/8, 9/8, 11/8 etc.), different ways to make body percussion arrangements for them, you will learn one song from Balkans in two different melody lines and connect it all into a body music arrangement for the song you can perform right away.

Your guides will be Ana and Marko, Alice in WonderBand duo from Serbia. They perform and teach body music for all ages internationally from 2013 and organize annually the New Balkan Rhythm body music festival in Sremski Karlovci.

Body music workshop will take place on

February 17 and 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., (10 hours total)
