I invite you to a workshop that combines: movement, dance, insight into yourself, interaction with others and a bit of drawing. Through experience, we will ask ourselves the following questions:
How do I perceive my own body?
How do I feel in it?
What is my relationship with him?
What story is my body telling?
How do I feel when someone watches my movement?
How do I feel as an observer?
How do I feel when I dance with another person?
How do I feel when I follow someone and how do I feel when I lead another person?
And everything else that comes out in the wash 🙂
I believe we don’t need to “know” how to dance. For me, dance is something you can discover in yourself, not something you can learn. It requires courage and honesty. It’s something we can experience alone or with another person. I’m not interested in movement that has perfect form. The more truly you move, the more beautifully you dance.
Dance the way you like. This will be your ideal form.
You do not need to have any dance or artistic experience to take part in the workshop. All you need is openness, readiness and comfortable tracksuits 🙂 ¹

A few words about me: My name is Jagoda. In dance and movement, I am most interested in the relationship between the body and emotions. Dancing moves me. When I move, I feel alive. I also feel my limitations and difficulties in dance, which manifest themselves in movement. When I feel like dancing, it’s a sign that I’m in a good place – that life energy is flowing through me. When I don’t feel this energy, dancing helps me awaken it.
When I dance, sometimes I am tender and delicate, sometimes crazy and wild. I like to be silly, have fun, listen and be attentive. I like to give and take.
I have been dancing for as long as I can remember, and 5 years ago I discovered the therapeutic power of dance and began to perceive the body as a tool through which we experience reality. I took part in many different workshops, courses and festivals, including: in Improvisation Methodology Workshops and Choreography and Movement Composition Workshops with Iwona Olszowska, in the Improvisation, Physical Theater and Therapeutic Dance Course with Alicja Miszczor, Radical Somatics in Contact Improvisation with Christiane Cole. I am taking a course in Dance Therapy Techniques and Movement Analysis at the IBA Dance and Movement Therapy Center. Together with Agata Moląg, I run dance classes for people with Parkinson’s disease.
In my workshops, I use exercises that can be performed by anyone, regardless of experience or lack thereof. We dance solo and with others. I draw inspiration for conducting classes from, among others, in intuitive dance, contact improvisation, GAGA language, Dance Movement Therapy.
