~~~ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ~~~

During the classes, we will spend time extracting sounds with pleasure and curiosity, convincing ourselves that we can use our voice in many ways – we will hum, sigh, vocalize, rhythmize, sing songs. We will use breathing and emission exercises, activities in the area of ​​imagination and movement. We will get to know traditional songs of different cultures, including from the Slavic, Georgian and Balkan areas. With their help, we will find the pleasure of singing together, consonance, musical harmonies, we will connect with the meaning of songs and discover their different possible arrangements.

I invite everyone looking for pleasure and freedom associated with being in contact with their own voice, group and traditional songs. You do not have to have any musical or voice education behind you. It is worth wearing comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement. We are barefoot or in socks in the room.

Sabina Krauze
A vocalist and musician, she performs on music and theatre stages. She has formal music education in the form of a first-degree music school and many workshops and meetings with individual teachers. She graduated in mathematics and cognitive science, paying particular attention to the connections between psychology and music. In 2015, she immersed herself in the trend of traditional, theatrical and improvised music. She co-founded the SWADA and Baykuri bands, collaborated with the Italian-South American Teatro Simurgh, and ran her own vocal and vocal-theatre workshops. She is fascinated by rituals and the functions that music fulfills in society. On quiet evenings, she composes her own polyphonic pieces and improvises in places with beautiful acoustics.
