~~ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ~~

During classes, we will spend time producing sounds with pleasure and curiosity, discovering that we can use our voice in many ways – we will purr, sigh, vocalize, rhythmize, sing songs. We will use breathing and emission exercises, imagination and movement activities. We will learn traditional songs from various cultures, including those from the Slavic region, Georgia and the Balkans. With their help, we will find the pleasure of singing together, consonance, musical harmonies, connect with the meaning of songs and discover their various possible arrangements.

I invite everyone looking for the pleasure and freedom of being in contact with their own voice, group and traditional songs. You do not need to have any musical or voice education. It is worth wearing comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement. We are in the room barefoot or in socks.

Sabina Krauze

A singer and musician, she performs on music and theater stages. She has had formal musical education in the form of a first-level music school and many workshops and meetings with individual teachers. She graduated in mathematics and cognitive science, with particular emphasis on the relationship between psychology and music. In 2015, she immersed herself in traditional, theatrical and improvised music. She co-creates the bands SWADA and Baykuri, cooperates with the Italian-South American Teatro Simurgh, and conducts her own vocal and vocal-theatre workshops. She is fascinated by rituals and the functions that music fulfills in society. On quiet evenings, she composes her own multi-voice songs and improvises in places with beautiful acoustics.
