LATINO LADY STYLING – dance workshops for women – Mili Morena

Open classes for all women, where we’ll explore various Latin rhythms, such as salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha-cha, and rumba. A class full of energy and music. You don’t need anything but your body, because Mili Morena will move you and lead you with expertise. You’ll also have fun and learn more about Latin culture, especially Cuba. During the class, we’ll practice steps and choreography. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about Cuba.

Bio

Mili Morena, vocalist and dancer. She combines everything that is most beautiful in jazz with European art music, an African-American passion for improvised music, and local musical traditions from around the world. She performs each piece in her repertoire with extraordinary sensuality, bringing out a previously unknown depth. MILI MORENA is a charismatic artist with a unique voice and beauty, speaking her own artistic language. A dancer by training, she is a passionate vocalist. Born and raised in Havana, her entire childhood was steeped in fervent Latin American rhythms. She has collaborated with numerous Polish stars: Ewa Bem, Basia Trzetrzelewska, Maryla Rodowicz, and Rudi Szubert. She has performed in Poland and abroad, independently creating the repertoire and choreography of her performances. In 2019, she was invited to the Złota Tarka Jazz Festival (2019). She currently leads her own music project, which includes musicians living in Krakow, who tour the country and abroad with their music. She has been invited by the Milian Orchestra to perform in their concerts numerous times. She has collaborated with the Krakow Philharmonic on various occasions and recently participated in the Milagro Siesta concert tour with Marcin Kydrynski, conducted by Kamiły Rubik. The best way to get closer to and enjoy Latin music.
