About classes
In sequences combining classical and fascial yoga methods, we will look for openness, mobility and naturalness of movement. In supportive contact with the earth, we will feel how we (co)work with gravity and body weight and how we orient ourselves in space to develop lightness and freedom in each asana.
Sometimes we will find ourselves in fluid sequences, sometimes staying in positions for a longer time, and sometimes we will also incorporate simple breathing practices.
Regardless of the form, we will discover the quality of stable and relaxed presence, mindful breathing and gently build body awareness and fitness.
We will end with guided relaxation to fully rest in a natural state in letting go and with calm breathing.
– Are you starting your adventure with yoga? Cool! These are more relaxed than competitive classes, tailored to the needs of participants, and you can count on precise explanations.
– Are you already whizzing around in yogic spaces? Great! We will develop simpler positions into more advanced variants, paying attention to details, breathing and the deeper aspect of the practice.
How to prepare?
Take loose clothes and I recommend not eating two hours before the practice, that’s all 🙂
Contraindications:
– active injuries, acute inflammation
– occurring psychotic states
– first trimester of pregnancy
About the host
Przemysław Ćwik – a religious scholar fascinated by the potential of yoga, exploring the spaces of the mind and embodied experience through movement, work with voice, breath and meditation practices. He started his adventure with yoga 9 years ago, and for less than 3 years he has been conducting his own classes, combining elements from the Bihar school of yoga, the Iyengar method and fascial yoga. He likes tea, contact with nature and is involved in therapeutic work, mainly in the field of systemic settings
