✨ DANCE ON THE FLOOR

Is there anyone here who didn’t like rolling on the floor as a child?
In adulthood, we can also do it, with virtuosity, pleasure, and after this workshop even soft and fluent!

On the ground, our body reacts completely differently than in a standing position – it can play with gravity, look for new ways to move in space, depart from the obvious patterns.

✨ WHAT WILL HAPPEN
I invite you for three hours of floorwork – we will look for ways to softly and smoothly stick to the floor, get in and out of the ground floor, we will learn about various variations of turns, transitions, and ways of moving in the floor.

✨ AND NOW THE CONCRETES
The workshop will be divided into three parts:

▫️ CZ. AND
We will start with the alphabet of entrances and exits from the ground floor, we will use the effects of gravity and momentum, and we will also strengthen the strength of the whole body.

▫️ CZ. II
How does my body react to obstacles, how does it deal with rhythm changes and coordination? Various tasks taken from Fighting Monkey will help us in our search for answers.

▫️ CZ. III
This part will be devoted to combinations of movements and choreography in the floor.
We will combine the known elements into a fluid, coherent whole and check which are the most intuitive.

Aleksandra Nowakowska – a graduate of the Faculty of Dance Theater in Bytom at the Academy of Theater Arts in Krakow, actress and dancer. I do art and teach dance, recently I have been teaching at the Krakow Dance Theater. More here:
