Conscious Cuddle – “When Words Touch and Touch Speaks.”
Your presence matters. Your boundaries are respected. Your connection is welcomed.
Conscious Hugging – “When Words Touch and Touch Speaks” is a guided workshop in which participants explore and practice intentional, non-sexual touch in a safe and supportive environment. Drawing on Dr. Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent, among other approaches, this experience helps understand the dynamics of giving, receiving, taking, and allowing touch.
At the heart of the workshop are:
The dynamics of giving and taking in interpersonal relationships—especially in the context of touch, but also more broadly…
“Wheel of Power & Privilege”
Exercises on “yes,” “no,” and “maybe,”
Strategies for recognizing boundaries in yourself and others
Ways of expressing sincere needs
Clear communication and mutual respect
This is a space for authentic contact, healing presence, and deep emotional nourishment.
What is Conscious Cuddling?
Conscious Cuddling is an invitation to experience touch as a form of connection—not as a fulfillment of expectations. This might mean holding hands, hugging, sharing a hug, or simply sitting quietly next to each other. Every interaction is conducted with respect for consent, care, and mindfulness.
You will learn how to connect through touch that is:
Non-sexual
Caring
Voluntary (consensual)
Workshop Structure and Key Principles
No Pressure to Participate
You can participate in any way you feel is appropriate. You can hug, observe, meditate, or simply be present—there is no obligation to touch or be touched.
✅ Consent First
Every interaction begins with a clear, verbal “yes”—according to the principles of the Consent Circle.
❌ You Can Always Say “No”
Even after saying “yes,” you have the right to change your mind at any time. This space supports listening to yourself and freely setting boundaries.
✋ Mindful, Respectful Touch
All touch is non-sexual and intentional—focused on comfort, care, and emotional presence, never on arousal or pretense.
Sex-Free Zone
This is a fully clothed space, free from sexual behavior. Touching under clothing is not permitted. If arousal occurs, we treat it without shame, redirecting attention to conscious presence.
Boundaries are sacred
Boundaries are clearly communicated and fully respected. If you are in a relationship, we encourage you to have an open conversation with your partner before participating in the workshop.
All emotions are welcome
Laughter, sadness, frustration—joy, tears, silence—every emotion is accepted here. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Your privacy is important
Everything participants share during the workshop remains within the group. Confidentiality and privacy are fundamental to us.
