Concert: BROTHER HILL – energetic American folk-rock and charismatic vocals / Thursday, November 24, at 9 p.m.

Dear Friends! We invite you to a special concert of our compatriot from Ohio – Brett Hill.
We have already had the opportunity to host Brett with the Slavalachia team in Kontakt. They rocked it then.
This time the charismatic singer from Ohio will sing solo for us.

We can definitely expect great vocals and cosmic energy. The mix of lively American folk and rock will surely make us dance. We are already looking forward to it.
Believe us – you too! 😉

Brother Hill (Brett Hill) is a singer and multi-instrumentalist from Ohio, known for his dynamic and evocative voice and engaging stage presence. Performing a variety of works such as original compositions from his own three albums to old-world folk songs from the Appalachian-American tradition, Hill brings a bard-like presence of both delicacy and ferocity to the stage.

Hill has just returned from a tour in eastern Ukraine delivering medical supplies and performing for Ukrainian troops fighting on the frontlines as part of the “From Ohio With Love” campaign, which he founded in the first week of the full-scale invasion in February. To date the campaign has raised over $66,000 for Ukrainian causes through folk shows in his home state.

Brother Hill performs as frontman in folk-quintet “Hill Spirits” and also as American representative of the Ukrainian-Belarusian-American folk project “Slavalachia”, which allies Slavic and Appalachian folk traditions to promote cultural solidarity and create new bridges for creative cultural expression. He is now touring Poland and Ukraine through the end of 2022.
