AROMA – Paula and Sabina Krauze Concert

Paula and Sabina Krauze have been singing together since childhood. Over the years, they have explored Polish and Greek music together, shared poetry, spent time at the piano, and experimented with harmonies and voices. Their latest project, Aroma, was born from these inspirations. The program consists of both original compositions set to poetic texts and arrangements of traditional melodies from Poland, Serbia, and Greece. The lyrics and melodies create a story about the world they dream of, one in which there is room for strength and sensitivity, precision, courage, and gentleness. The two intertwining voices are accompanied by piano, guitar, and frame drum.

Sabina Krauze – vocalist and musician, performs on both music and theatre stages. She received her artistic education at a primary music school and the Gardzienice Academy of Theatre Practices, among others. Immersed in traditional music from Poland and around the world, she co-founded the SWADA ensemble. She collaborates with the Italian-South American Teatro Simurgh and the German A.Tonal.Theater, leads her own vocal and vocal-theatre workshops, and creates musical and choral elements for theatre performances. She is fascinated by rituals and the functions that music fulfills in society.

Paula Krauze – pianist, graduate of the Academy of Music in Poznań. The diverse musical genres she explores allow her to express her sensitivity – she reaches for both Rachmaninov and ethnic music. Her curiosity about the world leads her abroad, and she has lived in Spain, Greece, and Brazil, among other places. She performs as a vocalist and musician, with a repertoire of samba and bossa nova. Sensitive to sound and image, she studied at the Barcelona Film School.
