Tangos and hits from the interwar period, from Warsaw, Buenos Aires and Paris. The concert is built on the basis of Argentinean and Polish tangos. In the artist’s arrangements.

Tomasz Drabina
Accordionist, composer, teacher. A graduate of the accordion class of the Academy of Music
in Poznań, winner of numerous competitions and festivals and a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art.
Since 2007, he has been creating and working in Krakow.
The scope of his musical interests includes Argentinian and Polish tango, Parisian music
in the style of musette, folklore of the Balkans and the Carpathians, French and Polish songs, film music
and klezmer tunes.
The repertoire is built on the basis of the above genres and enriched with own compositions
with a film-illustrative character is presented in recitals by “TOMASZ DRABINA. INSPIRATIONS “,” TOMASZ DRABINA. TANGREEN “and” TOMASZ DRABINA. FINE-UP TO LIVE ”. Fans of accordion sound with other instruments are offered the work of the group “AVIACCORD”, whose repertoire is based on the ethnofolk of the Balkans and Poland, and on its own compositions. The band “TANGREEN” he founded, inspired by the tango from Argentina and Poland, performs his traditional and original arrangements; while the quartet “AVIACCORD – musette” presents a stylish French and Polish song of the interwar period. The accordionist also co-creates the highlander band “SMEREK”, which is based on the original folklore of the Carpathian arch cultures (Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania) and draws on the musical traditions passed down in those regions for many generations.
