A bicycle on stage + original music + field recordings + improvisation + sing-along – what could this equation possibly yield? We present the Musicleta project, or the Theatre of One Cyclist by Aleksandra Daraż.

The main idea of ​​the Musicleta project is to combine music, art, and sustainable travel. Musicleta is a new work and tool that combines a bicycle reconstructed to serve not only as a concert rider but also as an instrument. It is a machine for sustainable travel and art creation, carrying a specific message and values: from travel inspiration (using field recordings) to the simple joy of transforming familiar forms into something entirely new. Mental and physical health, and the promotion of artistic expression. Connecting with the audience, shared values, passion, shared improvisation, and good music.
