My name is Karo Gawlik, since the breakthrough for many of us 2020 I have been involved in singing, holding circles, rituals and processes that free the voice and restore feeling. The songs that I heard in my quiet work serve many people today and myself. If your heart wants to love, your voice to sing, and you to cooperate with them for the good of yourself and others – I can accompany you on this fascinating adventure.

I invite you to a workshop that will allow you to meet live improvisation and ceremonial songs – those that were created specifically for the needs of rituals or originate from them. Ceremonial music accompanies important events, often marking breakthrough moments in personal or social life.

Skillful, authentic work with intention through voice can be an effective way to reach intuition and take care of your sensitivity. Both of these superpowers are often covered by the noisy outside world or confused with the ideas of the mind, and it is from them that creative creation and connection with something greater than ourselves flows.

Using the symbolism of the four elements and the eight directions of the world, you can create a so-called sacred space for yourself, your loved ones, your community, or the surrounding nature. At this meeting, you will receive inspiration and knowledge on the structure of building your own ritual, supporting your intention and art form, thus enriching an important part of your life as an artist (which deep down each of us is).

Place and time:
We meet at Kontakt – Space of Movement, Dance and Music in Krakow, at Szpitalna Street 40 (next to the Słowacki Theater), on the 2nd floor in the Oriental Hall.

The workshops will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025 (day of love!) at 7:15 p.m.

Until 7:15 p.m., other workshops are held in this room, so if you come earlier, please wait on the 1st or 2nd floor. We finish at 9:30 / 9:40 p.m.

Exchange:
The cost of the workshop is the amount you choose in the given range: PLN 100 – 150.

I am the creator of Mantra Ziemi, a journalist by education, a singer and traveler by passion. I graduated from the School of Shamanism under the supervision of Robert Rient, where I support the module on song. I take care of young people during camps in nature and talent academies.
