Noga and Alon Ritter are excited to come together for this unique weekend intensive. To explore the infinite possibilities when voice and movement become one.

Noga will bring her vast experience as a singer-songwriter, dancer and workshop facilitator.

Alon will bring his experience in bodywork, Contact improvisation, Contemporary dance and music education.

This weekend we will explore how voice and movement influence each other and open infinite possibilities for improvisation and new creative processes.

This weekend will be a lab for improvisation, we will use:

Vocal technique and breathing exercise
Bodywork ( Feldenkrais)
Body percussion
Somatic dance & Movement improvisation
songs from around the world and circle singing
Contact Improvisation
Group improvisation using voice, movement and body music.

This workshop is an invitation of healing – freedom – connection – celebration

11:00-11:30 Landing/introduction/coming into the body

11:30-12:30 Creating safe space through movement, games and bodywork

12:30-13:00 breathing exercises and vocal warm-up

13:00-13:30 Body percussion and song

13:30-15:00 Lunch

15:00-16:00 Movement improvisation – Solo/partnering

16:00-17:00 Voice & Movement Impro

17:00-20:00 Jam + Sharing + Mutual dinner

Sunday:

11:00-12:00 Bodywork & Vocals

12:00-13:00 learning a song from Ghana into a collective improv

13:00-14:30 Contact Improvisation – Duos/Trios

14:30-15:30 Lunch

15:30-17:30 Group playground jam session (using everything we explored)

17:30-18:00 Sharing and closing circle
