Workshops: Introduction to Slavic gymnastics for women, i.e. the basics of the so-called “witches’ gymnastics” – Joanna Małocha / April 16

Slavic gymnastics, sometimes called “witches’ gymnastics”, is a native alternative to yoga. It is not only learning a set of exercises dedicated exclusively to women (of all ages!) that improve fitness. At the same time, it is a strengthening of the awareness of female strength drawn from nature, a sense of community, as well as … the attractiveness of the female body.

When: April 16, at 16.00-18.00

Workshops include:

• theoretical part (presentation of the origins of Slavic gymnastics and the rules regarding when, how and for what purpose Slavic women performed certain exercises; learning the structure of a full set of 27 exercises and their symbolism, and linking Slavic gymnastics with the role of a woman in the family system).

• practical part, ie: warm-up (with elements of dance), getting to know the three so-called starting positions and a selected exercise from the set, relaxing meditation at the end

• a common card with intuitive cards and … a surprise 
