ABOUT THE LEADERS:

Sebastian Flegiel
I follow many paths. So far, only a few have I reached a level that satisfies me. By nature, I am an engineer, philosopher and, above all, a mover and dancer. I have been moving for 40 years. I have been dancing for over twenty. I am already aware of several things, others are still waiting for me to discover them.

I am an academic lecturer, dancer, performer, certified dance instructor, certified masseur and Aikido adept. I am fascinated by motor skills, anatomy, dynamics of movement. Its meaning and reception by the viewer based on jointly read symbolism. Although I have danced and learned from many more and lesser known people, over the past two decades, my understanding of movement and dance, and at the same time the teaching material, has become the sum of all the techniques and experiences that I have dealt with or deal with. Synthesized through my own understanding and judgment.

Advanced practice of Contact Improvisation lasting 25 years. I have been teaching for 18 years.

I teach KI, partnering technique and movement principles at the Department of Dance Theatre in Bytom and at the Academy of Music in Łódź.
