🧐🧐🧐
Guy-Gerard Ngono was born in Cameroon in 1987. Growing up in Cameroon, a country with a rich history and diverse cultures, he was deeply inspired by his surroundings and developed a strong passion for art from an early age.
As he delved into the world of art, he became fascinated by history and how it could shape our current and future society. Guy-Gerard understood that history had the power to divide nations and communities but also had the potential to foster unity and understanding. This realization became the basis of his artistic vision. The medium the artist chooses varies depending on the message he wants to convey, ranging from Afro-traditional dance performances, through painting and sculpture, to installations and multimedia projects.
Through his artistic work, he seeks to bridge the gaps between communities, encouraging viewers to step outside of their comfort zones and engage in meaningful conversations. By highlighting shared human experiences throughout history, it aims to challenge prejudices and spark conversations that lead to greater empathy and understanding.”
