ZOFIA ZOŃ – Actress and voice-over artist. A graduate of the Leon Shiller National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź (major: acting). She made her debut at the Ludwik Solski Theatre in Tarnów in the play “Three Sisters,” directed by Ewelina Pietrowiak. Her theatre credits include: “Inscription” (dir. Norbert Rakowski) at the Wojciech Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz, “Constellations” (dir. Natalia Sołtysik) at the Ludwik Solski Theatre in Tarnów, and “One-Handed Men from Spokane” (dir. Zbigniew Brzoza) at the Ludwik Solski Theatre in Tarnów – for her role in “One-Handed Men from Spokane,” she received an individual award at the 16th Talia National Comedy Festival in 2012. She also received the Bogdan Wojtowicz TEMI Cultural Award for her directorial debut, Ivan Vyrypaev’s “Oxygen,” in 2013. Her life motto is Tadeusz Kantor’s words: “You can’t always be on top of the wave, you have to be the wave.” She has starred in films including “Afonia and the Bees,” directed by Jan Jakub Kolski; “Splinters,” directed by Maciej Pieprzyca; “Heart, Heart,” directed by Jan Jakub Kolski; “Close-ups,” directed by Magdalena Piekorz; and “History of a Woman,” directed by Bracia Węgrzyn. For this film, she received the award for Best Actress at the 5th Festival International de Cinema et Memoire Commune in Nador in Morocco. For her role in Agnieszka Nowosielska’s film “Ave Eva,” she received the prestigious Jan Machulski Award in the Best Actress category at the 24th International Short Film Forum. She was a lecturer in acting monologue at the University of Musical Arts in Krakow. She conducts online voice-over courses, acting improvisation workshops, and courses preparing candidates for acting departments.
In her work, she combines acting experience with working with emotions and awareness.
