“Dance, movement, is an organic part of everyday life for me.I see wonderful partnerships at airports, when people greet and say goodbye; I see choreographies in trams, when passengers change from one seat to another. I am fascinated by athletes and the way their bodies work. I watch children who are great performers and have an extraordinary stage presence even when repeating the same exercises. Improvisation teaches me that there are many movement solutions, that crisis situations during dance have great potential. Every crisis in which we remain attentive and honest can bring new solutions – just like in life. There are even more reasons why dance is my passion, but I want students and viewers with whom I share my experience to find their own goals.”
