AGATA ROMANKIEWICZ

She find dance as a form of dialogue—careful listening to partners’ needs and exploring communication in movement. For over 10 years, she has been exploring various dance languages like blues, folk, balfolk, tango, and Lindy-hop. For about five years, she has been practicing Contact Improvisation on international KI festivals in Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, and Germany, as well as in Poland on Flow and Cyrkulacje festival. She had the opportunity to deepen her contact impro skills in Thailand, during cours “InSpiral” organized by teachers: Sasha Dodo and Dolores Dewurst (https://towards.contact/). She likes to implement philosophy and techniques from this marchal art Aikodo into CI practice.

In 2022 graduated Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdańsk.
In everyday life she try to connect worlds of science and art as well as deepen her knowledge on preventative medicine and broadly defined psycho-physical well-being.
